The Activate Leadership Council
The Activate Leadership Council comprises 50 high-tech-focused and visionary leaders across government, philanthropy, venture, corporations, and academia and is committed to supporting the success of Activate and its fellows.
LC members provide deep value to the whole Activate community in three important ways.
Advising: As they navigate their entrepreneurial journey, fellows and alumni benefit from the council’s expertise and guidance.
Advocating: As Activate ambassadors, LC members are key advocates, helping to build our brand and credibility.
Connecting: Activate benefits from the LC’s expansive networks and the opportunities they present in supporting our growth and impact.
Members reflect the diversity needed to advance our mission with respect to institutional backgrounds, race, gender, geography, expertise, and sector.
LC members participate through a three-year term. Interested in learning more?
Within the next five years, Activate plans to support 100 new fellows annually and a growing alumni network, reinforcing focuses on climate change, the U.S. innovation system, and equitable development.

The Leadership Council is not a decision-making body. Instead, as champions of the organization, Leadership Council members' talents and expertise are used to strategically and efficiently advance the success of Activate Fellows, alumni, and staff.
