Sarah Morrill
VP, Strategic Initiatives
Sarah Morrill (she/her) is Activate’s vice president of strategic initiatives, where she leads organizational growth priorities and strategic planning. Previously, Morrill was the vice president of program experience, overseeing the fellowship experience across Activate communities. Prior to Activate, Morrill led a school turnaround initiative in Oakland, CA, transforming one of the lowest-performing schools into a top school for Latino students. Morrill also held leadership roles at Teach For America, where she spearheaded vision setting, strategy development, and leadership coaching initiatives. Morrill earned an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, a certificate in education finance from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, and a B.A. in international political economy from Colorado College.
